By booking a service with JEMD Mobile Car Detailing, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Customer Belongings
Customers are advised to remove all personal belongings, valuables, and any sensitive items from their vehicles before any service is carried out. JEMD Mobile Car Detailing will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal items left inside the vehicle during or after the service.

2. Vehicle Condition and Damage
While we take the utmost care in handling your vehicle, JEMD Mobile Car Detailing accepts no responsibility for any pre-existing damage or defects. Customers are encouraged to report and document any known issues prior to service. We will not be liable for:
Existing scratches, dents, or imperfections
Paint deterioration due to age, oxidation, or previous poor-quality repairs
Damage resulting from structural weaknesses, rust, or brittle trims and fittings

3. Engine Bay Cleaning
Engine bay cleaning is performed at the customer's request and risk. While we take precautions to protect sensitive components, JEMD Mobile Car Detailing is not liable for any issues that may arise after an engine clean, including but not limited to:
Starting problems
Electrical faults
Sensor or ECU damage
Check engine lights or warning indicators

4. Battery Disclaimer
Due to the nature of detailing services, including leaving doors open or accessories on, there is a risk that your car battery may go flat during or after the service. JEMD Mobile Car Detailing will not be held responsible for flat batteries, battery failure, or any related inconvenience.

5. Liability Waiver
By using our services, you acknowledge and accept that JEMD Mobile Car Detailing is not responsible for any mechanical issues or failures that occur during or after the detailing process, including but not limited to those related to the engine, electrical systems, or vehicle electronics.

6. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Failure to do so will result in the loss of your deposit, which is non-refundable. This policy is in place to ensure fair scheduling and to protect our team’s time.

7. Payment Terms
Payment can be made online (via approved payment platforms) or at the completion of the service. JEMD Mobile Car Detailing reserves the right to retain possession of vehicle keys until full payment has been received. Late or withheld payment may result in additional fees or legal recovery action.

8. Service Agreement and Final Inspection
Upon completion of your detailing service, a final walk-around inspection will be conducted with the customer and a JEMD staff member present. This inspection is the customer’s opportunity to raise any concerns or note any missed areas. Once the inspection is complete and both parties agree the service is finished, no further claims, complaints, or dissatisfaction will be accepted. This final check serves as the customer's confirmation that they are satisfied with the quality of work performed.

9. Acceptance of Terms
Booking a service with JEMD Mobile Car Detailing constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice. It is the customer’s responsibility to review them periodically.
